1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Nyata Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at nyataai.co.uk. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which also explains how our mobile apps handle your data.
The short version
- We only use what's needed to run the site until you choose otherwise.
- Google Analytics only runs if you click Accept All or switch analytics on in Cookie Settings.
- We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies.
- You can change your mind at any time.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Similar technologies work in much the same way, and this policy covers them too. The main one we use is local storage, which stores small pieces of information in your browser until you clear it. The law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, or PECR) treats cookies and these technologies the same way.
We do not use device fingerprinting.
3. What We Use
3.1 Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to work or to remember a choice you have made. They don't need your consent and are always on.

3.2 Analytics (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site, for example which pages are visited and whether the app download buttons work. It only loads after you opt in. We have set Google Analytics to keep event data for 2 months, and IP anonymisation is switched on.

If you later switch analytics off, Google Analytics will not load on future page views. You can also delete existing _ga cookies in your browser settings (see section 5).
3.3 Functional
We do not currently set any functional cookies beyond the strictly necessary items above. The option exists in Cookie Settings so that we can ask your permission before adding any.
3.4 Advertising
We do not currently use advertising, retargeting or conversion-tracking cookies (such as the Meta Pixel, Google Ads or the LinkedIn Insight Tag). If we introduce them, we will update this policy first and only use them with your consent.
4. Third-Party Content on Our Site
Some parts of our pages load from other providers: icons from cdnjs (Cloudflare), fonts from Google Fonts, and badge images from sites that have featured Nyata (such as Product Hunt and BetaList). When your browser fetches this content, the provider receives your IP address and basic browser information, as with any web request. These providers' own policies apply to this. Links to other websites, including WhatsApp, the App Store and Google Play, are governed by those sites' own cookie and privacy policies.
5. Managing Your Choices
5.1 On our website
Use Cookie Settings in the footer of any page, or the button at the top of this page. Choosing Reject is as easy as choosing Accept All, and no optional categories are switched on in advance.
5.2 In your browser
You can view and delete cookies and site data in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
If you block all storage, the site will still work but will ask for your cookie choices on each visit.
5.3 Google Analytics opt-out
Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on all websites.

7. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy whenever we change the cookies we use, and change the "Last updated" date above. If we add a new category that needs consent, we will ask you again through the cookie banner.
